Two-Day Flood School
- Flood Certified and never worked a Flood
Claim?
- Do you need to know how to complete the
Flood Forms?
- Do you need to learn the requirements for an
accepted Flood File?
It is a common problem that Flood Certified adjusters
have no idea how to work flood claims.
Our Two-Day Flood School teaches all the requirements set forth by the
National Flood Insurance Program. Scoping techniques, coverages and exclusions
from all the Flood Policies are discussed and reviewed. After our class, if
you are Flood Certified, you will be able to adequately work flood claims.
This is a very informative, hands-on class setting.

Intermediate Coverage
and Property
Estimating Class
Each month, our facility will offer an
intense Intermediate Property Estimating Class that reviews some major
components of the 3-Day Introductory Course
and integrates that knowledge into more in-depth Property Coverage
situations and estimating techniques. Property damage identification,
scoping methods/procedures and homeowner policy knowledge will be
thoroughly reviewed, discussed and tested. We strongly recommend that
anyone wanting to continue their career in this field attend this class.
Specific training on contents inventory gathering techniques and value
computations will be addressed. This class will enable you to be in the
position to successfully handle more substantial losses, which relates to
your higher service fee. The cost for the 2-Day Intermediate Property
Estimating Class is $350.00.
Advanced
Coverage and Property Estimating Class
This class will also be offered each
month. We suggest that only individuals who have worked in this field for
more than 3 years attend. This class will review coverages pertaining
to NFIP, Florida Windstorm Underwriting Association and Condominium Unit
Owner losses in relation to the Condominium Association responsibility. Estimating
is very important. However, correctly estimating those items that
the respective policies cover is paramount to your success as a
knowledgeable and efficient adjuster. Negotiating techniques for
dealing with public adjusters will be addressed. This class will
involve group discussions, visual examples of a variety of losses and
review of Florida Statutes governing condominium law. Review and
discussion detailing mold remediation and accepted repair practices will be
outlined. For any adjuster wanting to successfully handle
large-losses, this is the class to attend. This 2-Day Advanced Property
and Coverage Estimating Class is available for $250.00.
